This stunningly matted & framed Boston Celtics Mitchell & Ness jersey has been hand signed & inscribed "11x Champs" by Bill Russell.

Bill Russell was one of the most legendary figures in basketball history, both for his achievements on & off the court. Playing for the Boston Celtics from 1956-1969, he held 11 NBA titles which are the most in NBA history. Russell was also 5x NBA MVP, 12x NBA All-Star & was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1975. In 2001 he was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom & is forever remembered not only for his outstanding playing / coaching abilities but as a trailblazer for civil rights. Ortiz, widely regarded as one of the greatest designated hitters of all time played 20 MLB seasons from 1997 to 2016, primarily with the Boston Red Sox. He began his career with the Minnesota Twins but found stardom after joining the Red Sox in 2003. He played a pivotal role in breaking the team's 86-year World Series championship drought, contributing significantly to their 2004, 2007, & 2013 championships. Ortiz was named World Series MVP in 2013 & is a10x All-Star, 7x Silver Slugger recipient, & received eight Edgar Martínez Award as the league's best designated hitter. He was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022.
