Cody Rhodes nicknamed “The American Nightmare” is a professional wrestler & one of the most influential figures in modern wrestling. Rhodes competed in amateur wrestling during high school, winning Georgia state titles in 2003 & 2004. Debuted in 2006 with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), achieving Triple Crown status as OVW Heavyweight & Southern Tag Team Champion then joined WWE's main roster in 2007. He left WWE in 2016 to compete on the independent wrestling scene, including stints in Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, & New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, reigniting his career & won the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40 by defeating Roman Reigns.
