This Rawlings Official 1986 World Series baseball has been hand signed inscribed "86 WS Champs" by Doc Gooden.
Gooden was drafted by the New York Mets in the first round of the 1982 MLB Draft; he quickly rose through the minor leagues thanks to his powerful fastball & devastating curveball. He is a 4x All-Star, 2x World Series Champion & received multiple awards: NL Rookie of the Year, NL Cy Young Award, Pitching Triple Crown. In 2010 Gooden was inducted into the New York Mets Hall of Fame.
