Gale Sayers, the all-time NFL halfback, scored a rookie record 22 touchdowns and 132 points in 1965 for the Chicago Bears. Sayers led the league in rushing twice and possessed incredible break-away speed. During his career, he totaled 9,435 combined net yards, 4,956 yards rushing, & 336 points scored. When he retired, he was the NFL's all-time leader in kickoff returns. Named Offensive Player of the Game in three of the four Pro Bowls in which he played; Sayers was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1977. This full size pro helmet has been hand signed by Sayers.
