Henry Hill was a real-life mobster who later became an FBI informant. He was associated with the Lucchese crime family in New York City & became involved in organized crime as a teenager. Hill took part in crimes like robbery, extortion, & drug trafficking, including major heists such as the 1978 Lufthansa robbery. After being arrested in 1980, he cooperated with the FBI, helping convict dozens of mob figures. His life inspired the book Wiseguy & the famous 1990 movie Goodfellas, where he was portrayed by Ray Liotta.
