John Cena is an actor, rapper & former pro wrestler, widely regarded as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time, with a career spanning from 2001 to his retirement in December 2025. Cena began wrestling in 1999, working in Ultimate Pro Wrestling as “The Prototype.” He signed a developmental contract with the WWF (later WWE) in 2000. He won his first major title, the United States Championship, in 2004 at WrestleMania XX & later went on to become a 17x World Champion, the most in WWE history (14 WWE Championships + 3 World Heavyweight Championships).
