Johnny Manziel is a former football quarterback best known for his spectacular rise as a college star, his turbulent NFL career, and his later involvement in alternative football leagues and television. He became the first freshman in history to win the Heisman Trophy (2012) while playing for Texas A&M University & earned the nickname “Johnny Football” for his electrifying dual-threat style while breaking multiple NCAA & SEC records. Manziel was selected in the 1st round, 22nd overall by the Cleveland Browns in 2014 playing for two seasons & becoming a free agent in 2016. By 2018 he had moved away from the NFL & played in other leagues including Canadian Football League (Hamilton Tiger-Cats & Montreal Alouettes) & Alliance of American Football (Memphis Express).
