This official Rawlings baseball has been hand signed by Kirk Gibson.
Gibson played for numerous teams during his career including the Detroit Tiger where in 1984, while playing for the Tigers, he sealed the championship in Game 5 with a dramatic three-run shot off Goose Gossage & was a star outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1988 to 1990. In 1988, he was named the NL MVP & helped lead the Dodgers to a victory in the World Series. During Game 1, he hit a walk-off home run against Dennis Eckersley to give the Dodgers the 1988 Series Game 1 victory. It is still known as one of the most exciting moments in World Series history.
