A fierce presence on the mound, Ryan was an 8x All-Star, a member of MLB’s All-Century Team, & earned first-ballot Hall of Fame honors in 1999. When he signed with the Houston Astros, Ryan made history as MLB’s first million-dollar player. During his time with the team, he led the National League in ERA twice & helped guide the Astros to the postseason 3x, further cementing his legacy as one of the greatest pitchers of all time.
