Don Drysdale & Sandy Koufax were star pitchers for the Brooklyn / Los Angeles Dodgers & became one of the most dominating pitching duos in history. Sandy Koufax pitched (left-handed) for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers for his entire career, 12 seasons, 1955 to 1966. He was the first to win the Cy Young Award 3x & was a 7x All-Star, 4x World Series champion, 2x World Series MVP among many honors. Koufax is forever known as one of the greatest pitchers of all time & was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. Don Drysdale was a 9x All-Star, 3x World Series champion, & won the Cy Young Award in 1962. His jersey #53 was retired by the Dodgers, & he was enshrined into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984.
