Saraya is a professional wrestler best known to many fans by her former WWE ring name, Paige. She became a major WWE star helping revolutionize women’s wrestling in the 2010s. Saraya started very young (age 13) wrestling in her family’s promotion in England. She was signed by WWE in 2011 & became a breakout star by 2014. She won the WWE Divas Championship at age 21, making her the youngest champion in that title’s history & also the first NXT Women’s Champion (the only woman to hold both NXT & WWE main-roster titles at the same time. Saraya suffered serious neck injuries, which forced her into retirement in 2017–2018 for a while but returned to wrestling with AEW (All Elite Wrestling) in 2022 using her real name where she also won the AEW Women’s World Championship. Her life story inspired the 2019 movie Fighting with My Family, where she was portrayed by Florence Pugh.
