Stone Cold Steve Austin is a retired professional wrestler & actor. A 6x WWF/WWE champion with multiple title reigns, Austin is considered one of the most influential performers in wrestling history. He became the face of the WWF/WWE Attitude Era in the late 1990s & early 2000s, a period when pro wrestling exploded in mainstream popularity. He is known for his rebellious, anti-authority persona, especially his legendary feud with WWE chairman Vince McMahon. Austin created the iconic catchphrase “Austin 3:16” after his victory at the 1996 King of the Ring, which became a symbol of rebellion & defiance in professional wrestling.
