The Doors is a 1991 biographical musical drama. It portrays Morrison’s evolution from a UCLA film student to a rock icon consumed by fame, artistry, addiction, & a fascination with mysticism & death. The film follows his meeting Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, & John Densmore, forming The Doors, encounters of childhood friends, & Pamela Courson (played by Meg Ryan), Morrison’s longtime girlfriend.
