The Rolling Stones are one of the most iconic & enduring rock bands in music history. The original members were Mick Jagger (Lead vocals, harmonica), Keith Richards (Guitar, vocals), Brian Jones (Guitar, multi-instrumentalist), Bill Wyman (Bass guitar) & Charlie Watts (Drums). The band was originally formed by Brian Jones, who named them after the Muddy Waters song “Rollin’ Stone” & had their first gig on July 12, 1962, at the Marquee Club in London. They rose to fame in the 1960s with hits "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Paint It, Black", & "Sympathy for the Devil." & have sold over 240 million albums worldwide. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.
