The original Willy Wonka story comes from the 1964 book "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl. It was later adapted into the 1971 film "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory". The story follows Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum), a poor boy who wins a golden ticket to tour Willy Wonka’s magical chocolate factory along with four other children. Inside, they encounter fantastical inventions & whimsical rooms, but each child (except Charlie) succumbs to their own flaws: greed, gluttony, pride & face consequences. Charlie’s humility & kindness earn him a special reward.
