Dan Aykroyd is an actor, comedian, writer, & businessman, best known for his influential work in film & television comedy. He rose to fame in the 1970s as an original cast member of Saturday Night Live. He then cowrote & starred in several iconic films, like The Blues Brothers, Ghostbusters, Trading Places & Coneheads. Aykroyd has a long-standing interest in paranormal phenomena, which influenced the creation of Ghostbusters, he has hosted documentaries & shows about UFOs & unexplained events. Aside from acting, he is the co-founder of The House of Blues music venues & founder of Crystal Head Vodka.
