This stunningly matted & framed 7-page contract has been hand signed by Steve Jobs & Robert Friedland.
This extremely rare document details the partnership agreement between Jobs & his original mentor, Robert Friedland, for a place of business located at “RT2, Box 472, McMinnville, Oregon.” This 7-page document includes provisions for the purpose of business. “The partnership shall engage in the business of investments, including particularly but not being limited to real estate investments, & in such other business of a similar nature or related thereto as shall be agreed upon the partners.”
Steve Jobs
was one of the
original co-founders of Apple Inc. (Apple Computer Company)
& the
founder of NeXT, Inc., a development company for computer platforms
. He was also the
majority shareholder for Pixar after acquiring Lucasfilm computer division in 1979
. In
1997
after
returning as CEO to Apple
, he helped
revive Apple which was on the brink of bankruptcy
. Jobs
passed away in 2011
& in
2022 was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously
.
Robert Friedland
, widely
known as the original mentor of Jobs attended Reed College with Jobs
& was
class president
. He
ran the apple commune
where
Jobs frequently hung out during this time period
& it has
been reported that this is the pace where Jobs came up with the name “Apple” for his legendary company
.
