Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a live action/animated comedy mystery set in a world where cartoon characters “Toons” live alongside real humans. The story follows Eddie Valiant (played by Bob Hoskins), a down-on-his-luck private detective who hates Toons. He’s hired to investigate a scandal involving Jessica Rabbit (voiced by Kathleen Turner), the glamorous wife of cartoon star Roger Rabbit (voiced by Charles Fleischer). Soon after, the man at the center of the scandal is murdered & Roger becomes the prime suspect. Roger insists he’s innocent, so Eddie reluctantly teams up with him to clear his name.
